Ron Ellis Gaut
Power BI Architecture Design Patterns, Options and Implications

Power BI has come of age and the platform is now fully capable of delivering enterprise-scale solutions to satisfy a broad range of business/technical requirements and use case scenarios.
The velocity of the Power BI product development is indeed impressive. As a result, the landscape for developers is continually changing from the steady flow new product features and capabilities. While it is challenging to keep current, as the platform matures we gain more architecture and design options for the solutions we create.
As with any type of software development, designing great solutions with Power BI begins with thoughtful consideration of the architecture. However, Power BI is still a relatively new product and thus it can be tough to know the best architecture choices for any given scenario.
In this presentation, Ron will delve into real world examples of Power BI architectural design options. Ron will talk about where these patterns fit best and the implications and trade-offs of design choices.
