Nov 11, 2015: What We Learned at PASS Summit 2015

What We Learned at PASS Summit 2015

The annual PASS (SQL) Community Summit brings together the top independent experts and Microsoft Product Team members for several days of knowledge exchange and networking. Sessions included the new features of SQL Server 2016, as well as new ideas and strategies for using the current versions, and many sessions on how to get the most from your data environment.

Come and hear from folks who attended what were their highlights – what they came away most excited about. Whether your interest is primarily Business Intelligence, Reporting, SQL Development, DevOps, or the Data Engine, there will be some tidbits for you. (If you attended the PASS Community Summit, please join this discussion and offer a few of your highlights. Please let us know that you want to be included.)

And we invite you to join us for a small acknowledgement of the beginning of the Ninth year of Oregon SQL. Cake and non-alcoholic drink will be provided – in addition to our normal healthy food options.

Come and join us to learn and celebrate!

What Working in Technology and Holidays have in Common

The Holiday Season always brings people together, sometimes working in small teams to decorate and shop, other times working alone to organize a well deserved ‘surprise’. There are moments of happiness, joy, and pleasure, and moments of sadness as you recall those no longer able to be included. You will experience new things, meet new people, and find new challenges. You might reflect over the past year, and set new resolutions. Arnie will take this opportunity to show how Technology parallels the Holidays, and give you a little more insight into how you can expand your enjoyment of this time of year.

Arnie Rowland Arnie [LinkedIn] is a Data Architect, Consultant and Trainer specializing in developer/development issues related to SQL Server.
