Welcome to the March 15th, 2023 HYBRID meeting!
We are once again meeting in person in Vancouver, WA at the downtown Columbia Bank in their Community Room!
You may have noticed a change in date, we are now meeting on the 3rd Wednesday of the month once again at 6:00 PM PST. We will have snacks and networking before the main meeting.
But… we will continue to operate monthly online meetings through the PNW collaborative facilitated by the Oregon Data Community. Due to this, you will be able to attend the meeting remotely and we are definitely open to remote speakers.

Title: Designing a Clean and Powerful IoT Streaming Architecture
Abstract: IoT Streaming architectures have matured since the first IoT streaming systems were widely adopted. Near-real time analytics and edge ML model deployments are powerful tools for IoT-dependent enterprises, but these initiatives are often held back by legacy streaming architectures. This presentation aims to provide an architecture capable of meeting the needs of IoT-dependent corporations while remaining sensitive to the realities of legacy system replacement and long-term code maintenance.
Bio: Leif is a data and analytics consultant for 3Cloud Solutions where he specializes in Apache Spark development and data governance. His experience includes DoD data collection, mergers and acquisitions, and industrial control systems.
