Chuck Heinzelman:
Running Reporting Services in SharePoint Integrated Mode
How and Why

SharePoint and SQL Server Reporting Services are both great products in their own right, but put them together and things are even better! During this session we will discuss why you would want to run Reporting Services in SharePoint integrated mode and we will also configure a server and multiple sites. Don’t expect a lot of slides – we’ll be spending most of our time working through the integration process, creating and securing sites, and deploying reports.

Chuck Heinzelman is a Senior Program Manager with the BPD Customer Experience team at Microsoft – working with both the SQLCAT and Community Strategy teams. He has been involved in the SQL Server community for over 10 years. He is a founding member of the Wisconsin SQL Server User Group, a frequent presenter at the PASS Community Summit, and a long-time PASS volunteer. When not working with technology, you can find him working on his 111 year old house and learning from his son and daughter.

Last Meeting

In October, Oregon SQL hosted SQLSaturday Oregon. We were able to provide 37 world class speakers presentating on many aspects of SQL Server -and 327 folks came out for the day for learning and networking. It was a fantastic opportunity to hear and learn from some of the best speakers. We are scheduled to host SQLSaturday again on November 3, 2012. Plan ahead so that you won’t miss it next year!

We wish to acknowledge Robert Half Technologies for supporting Oregon SQL by generously sponsoring the meeting venue.
